Framed in a 8 inch wooden embroidery hoop, I have filled this Star Wars print fabric with thousands of stitches to give the picture depth and vitality. The X-Wing Fighter panel, the R2 D2 panel and the Chewbacca panel have all been embroidered to highlight the characters and scenes with a variety of stitches. Chewbacca is very densely embroidered. He alone took over 6 hours to stitch! The back is covered with a black felt circle hand-sewn in place to give the piece a finished look.
