Memory or Memorial Pillow Made of Special Clothing
Available with or without the pillow inside, these Memory cushion covers are a wonderful way to display and use your favourite pieces of clothing from your child's first year, or from a departed loved one. Hugging the pillow is a great comfort. You could even get one made from old bridesmaid dresses!

Send me a minimum of 12 pieces of clothing for variety. Pieces with small prints or small patches/pictures work the best. I will create a pillow cover that fits a 14 inch square pillow form. The cover has an envelope backing and a flange made up of small pieces of clothing that stands out as a decorative edge all the way around the pillow.
You can choose a cotton or flannel backing on the pillow, and I will attach a complementary fabric on the back.
Cotton, fleece, flannel, synthetics and jersey fabrics work best. I can use a bit of denim, but not too much - it gets too thick. No bathing suits, snowsuits, diaper covers or other rubberized fabrics, please.
You have the option of buying just the cover, and buy the pillow insert at a store like Target, Walmart, Michaels or Joann's. This will save you money. You can also purchase the cover with the pillow insert added.
